Campus Events

Our office coordinates many of ECU’s largest events and campus traditions, in addition to weekly events from the Student Activities Board. We also collaborate with other departments to host fun and engaging activities for the main and health sciences campuses.

Pirate Palooza

Held annually on the Saturday before fall classes begin, Pirate Palooza is a celebration students do not want to miss! This carnival-themed event has t-shirts, giveaways, rides, attractions, music, and so much more.

Halloween Havoc

ECU’s biggest Halloween event, Halloween Havoc offers a safe opportunity for students to celebrate in the Main Campus Student Center with free food, fun activities, costume contests, and music.

Homecoming

The Student Homecoming Committee is advised by our office. Student organizations participate in the Spirit Cup competition to showcase their school spirit. Homecoming events include a skit competition, canned food drive, parade, banner competition, and campus department door decoration competition.
